Unite and Rise Day of Action

On Friday, we will have a 1-hour text bank, and Dylan will be giving us instructions at the beginning before we take it from there. The demographic we are reaching out to is 18-30yo women in Nevada. The message will ask whether the receiver is registered to vote and has a voting plan. It will also ask them to share voting information with 3 other people, and recommends Vote411.org as a source to pass along to them.
On Saturday, we are looking at a number of options for registrants to make this a day of action! Details will be forthcoming, and may not include an actual meeting. You will have between 9:00am and 5:00pm to make this happen, and can start planning now! Some of the suggested ways to take action will include:
Text a friend with Vote411 info and ask them to send it to 5 other friends. Keep doing this!
Organize or speak at one group gathering within the next week (could be a book club, a crochet or knitters club, anything!), offering education about the importance of voting, registration, and participation in our democracy.
Distribute handouts or info on Vote411, the LWVNV website, etc. (by tabling, through businesses in the community, etc.).
